360 m² of new nature on sports hall in Alphen aan den Rijn
Together with Groendakspecialist, Wildr created a 360 m² roof flower meadow on a sports hall in Alphen aan den Rijn.
Green in the port of Rotterdam
In the heart of Rotterdam city centre, we have completed a new rooftop flower meadow project: 1100 𝗺² of native planting on the roof of the student housing of SSH Student Housing.
Together with IKO, Oranjedak and Groendakspecialist, we have transformed the roof into a large rooftop flower meadow. Thanks to the subsidy from the water board and the Municipality of Rotterdam, this roof can grow into a valuable place for biodiversity and water retention in the heart of Rotterdam.
In a complex area like the Kop van Zuid, a project like this requires careful coordination. Amidst high-rise buildings, the hustle and bustle of the cruise terminal, and a tight schedule, we have been able to create a place for nature together with our partners. Large and challenging, but above all, very cool to realize together!
